Wind howling through the trees; the branches bend and snap beneath; the force of the air drives the wind; low to the ground whirlwinds begin.
Wind circles around the hue; leaves piled high against the dew. Downspout drain; gushing down; water trickles to the ground.
Wind gusting to and fro; get to shelter; it’s time to go.
Wind chugging like a train; heart is pounding from the strain. Sounds become one together. Wind will you last forever?
Wind whistling on the pane; crashing glass; bang, bang, bang!
Wind rumbles; hums and blows; squealing through the cracks and doors.
A couple hours maybe more; before the wind decides to go.
Wind is quiet for the night; no need to have anymore fright.
Time to turn down the light; and enjoy the silence that now is night…
